History Sessions
Neighborhood connection, culinary vibes.
We designed a distinctive, community-oriented deli experience within the established brand of Sessions West Coast Deli. Located in the owners’ hometown, the deli is a testament to their deep-rooted connection to the neighborhood.
Working within limited space, we designed the interior as an immersive journey. Visitors are immediately greeted by a vibrant, lush green sign and a tactile, horizontal kaleidoscope of brand photography displayed on wood planks—inviting exploration and engagement. Overhead, the wood baffles create a visual abstraction of the California coastline, further immersing visitors in the local context. A standout feature is the prominently displayed bicycle, framed on the wall and visible from all angles. This piece serves as a tangible reminder of the owners' personal history and the neighborhood's character. [When you visit, definitely ask about the story behind the bicycle and its significance.]
The overall design aims to create a welcoming, intimate atmosphere that reflects the unique spirit of both Sessions West Coast and the local community.
